Whether you like to grow, plant, identify, study, draw, photograph, or conserve our beautiful Australian native plants; you will be welcome at Native Plants Queensland!
Our members have a diverse range of skills and backgrounds and they are happy to share their knowledge with native plant novices. As well as the many social opportunities that our organisation offers, our members enjoy the satisfaction of growing, protecting and promoting Australia's extraordinary native plants.
When you become a member of Native Plants Queensland, you will be able to:
- take part in social meet-ups, bushwalks, garden visits and speaker nights
- obtain free native seed from the Native Plants Queensland Seed Bank (currently closed)
- receive quarterly issues of the 'Native Plants Queensland Journal'
- join one (or more) of our NPQ branches* and get involved in local bushcare or plant propagation projects
- propagate and sell your own plants at one of our Native Plant Markets
- borrow books from the Native Plants Queensland Library
- participate in one of the ANPSA Study Groups to learn more about a particular group of plants or plant communities
- attend Native Plant Society Conferences in Queensland and interstate
New members will also receive an Information pack including a Welcome letter, Information booklet, brochures and a sample copy of the Australian Plants Journal.

The Membership Form is provided as a fillable PDF—you can complete it on your computer, 'save as' a new file name and attach to an email to the Membership Officer. Or print it to complete by hand and send it by mail.
A Journal Only Subscription is available for some organisations (e.g. Council libraries) and individuals living interstate or overseas. Please contact the Membership Officer for details at email@example.com
Memberships are available only within Australia. Half year membership is not available for the period from 1 April to 31 September.
Membership with NPQ may be taken out by individuals or organisations. Please supply full names for all parties for both insurance purposes.
Student members must be studying full-time within Australia. Please supply a copy of your student card to our membership officer. Half year membership is not available at student rates.
