Warwick branch meets at 7:30pm on the second Friday of the month. Meetings are held at the Lighthouse Centre, 37 Guy Street, Warwick. Excursions are held on the Saturday of the week following monthly meeting.
This is one of our newest Branches. It began as a group of people interested in native plants who were brought together by their involvement with the Warwick Greenbelt Scheme. They began meeting in 1994, with encouragement from SGAP Queensland Region and people in Toowoomba. In 1996 they decided to become a Branch of SGAP and this was formalised on 29th March 1996. First Chairman, Bob Amos, and Secretary, Graeme Stringer.
We welcome visitors to our branch meetings—you'll find we're a friendly group!
