Members and visitors are invited to the Native Plants Queensland Christmas Regional Gathering on Saturday, 1 December 2018, which will be hosted by Brisbane Western Suburbs branch and held at Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha.

We will meet in the Australian Plant Communities area to focus on the important role this section plays in the Gardens, and will have time to explore with knowledgeable leaders familiar with the plantings. The Curator of the Botanic Gardens, Dale Arvidsson, will also be giving us an update.

The Garden is providing a minibus shuttle departing from the rear of the Visitor Information Centre to our meeting area, every 10 mins or so from 9:30am to 10:00am. You can also walk up the ring road to meet us at the sheltered tables near the Native Plants for Brisbane Gardens section.

BYO morning tea begins at 10:00am, and bring-a-plate-to-share lunch begins at midday. Hot water, tea, coffee and cold water will be provided. There is covered shelter with seating and tables. Expected finishing time 2:30pm.
