Native Plants Queensland's Sunshine Coast Branch meet for 2-3 hours at 2pm on the second Sunday of each month except January, but there are often other events and propagation days between regular meetings. Many of our meetings are excursions to explore some of the beautiful natural places in our region, usually led by an expert in the flora of that location. February meeting: AGM and property walk at Bald Knob
March meeting: 9.30 am at Maroochy Botanic Gardens, Tanawha to learn what’s new from the scientists and citizen scientists with Ian McMaster, Hilary Pearl, Ryan Nevis and Garry Thomas. Morning tea $5, supplied by the Friends of the Gardens
April meeting: a walk in Triunia National Park led by Jacqueline Nolen, Sunshine Coast Council.
May meeting: Kenneth McClymont, Sunshine Coast Council will lead a walk at Ewen Maddock dam.
June meeting: Walk on the wildside with John Birbeck. Details will be on our website https://npqsuncoast.org closer to the event
July meeting: Come along and see Native Plants Queensland's Sunshine Coast Branch display in the Living Backyard area at the Queensland Garden Expo, Nambour. Friday – Sunday July 12 – 14 2019.
