    Want to know more about our native bees?

    Come and join us for a fascinating presentation by Dr Tobias Smith - Ecologist and Native Bee researcher. Learn all about our local native bee species and how to help save them.

    Presentation starts at 7pm at Country Paradise Parklands, 231 Beaudesert-Nerang Rd, Nerang. Light refreshments available. Lucky door prizes, give aways and native plants for sale.

    9.30am Col Fisher Park, Bribie Island (UBD Map 52:J1). After meeting, Walk at Heathland Street (East of Banksia Beach Golf Club) (UBD Map 42:R17). BYO morning tea/ lunch

    Caboolture Daytime branch meets on the second Tuesday of each month at a different venue each time. Contact the Caboolture branch for further information. Please always bring your morning tea, lunch and a chair. Wear sensible walking shoes, hat and insect repellent.

    Ipswich Branch Meeting: Guest speaker Barry Jahnke on Basic Botanical Knowledge

    Native Plants Queensland's Ipswich branch meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month (except January).

    We meet at the Queens Park Environmental Education Centre, Merle Finimore Avenue, Ipswich. Meetings start at 6:30pm, after which we welcome a guest speaker to give a talk starting at 7.00pm.

    Logan River Branch Meeting

    Native Plants Queensland's Logan River branch meets on the third Thursday of each month at a different venue each time. Meetings start at 9.30am. Contact Logan River branch for details of our upcoming meeting location.

    Logan River branch meetings are held outdoors at a local national park, council reserve or botanic gardens, or at a branch member's house where members are able to visit their garden. The branch meetings always commence with a shared morning tea and finish with lunch for those who like to stay on.
