    Caboolture Daytime branch meets on the second Tuesday of each month at a different venue each time. Contact the Caboolture branch for further information. Please always bring your morning tea, lunch and a chair. Wear sensible walking shoes, hat and insect repellent.

    Guest speaker John Moss – “Butterflies and their Host Plants of SE Qld and N. NSW”.

    Native Plants Queensland's Ipswich branch meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month (except January).

    We meet at the Queens Park Environmental Education Centre, Merle Finimore Avenue, Ipswich. Meetings start at 6:30pm, after which we welcome a guest speaker to give a talk starting at 7.00pm.

    Brisbane Daytime branch meets at a different venue around the Brisbane area each month.  We meet on the 2nd Friday of every month, except for January. We start with morning tea at 9:30am, followed by a meeting and discussion at 10am.  Please bring your morning tea, lunch and a chair and wear a hat and sensible walking shoes.  Vistitors are welcome.

    Rosewood Plant Sale

    For native plants and much more, come along to the Rosewood Showgrounds at 1 Railway Street, Rosewood, on Saturday 12 October 2019 from 9am.

    Native Plants Queensland Ipswich Branch is hosting this wonderful day out for gardeners, Australian flora and fauna enthusiasts, and the whole family. Free entry!

    We will have an amazing range of plants for sale from just $2, from specialised growers who will provide the expert help to ensure you get just the right selection to thrive in your garden.

    We'll also be celebrating with the Ipswich Koala Protection Society for their 25th Anniversary, along with other animal and conservation groups including Birds Queensland and Birdlife Queensland, Bob the Beeman and more.

    Refreshements will be available.

    We'd also appreciate volunteers on the day to lend a hand, no experience necessary and all training is provided. So spend a couple of hours helping around your plant purchase time, and help us spread the native plant love!

  • Gladstone Branch Meeting

    October Excursion - Wyndham Park to Lillis Beach walk - 9.00am at Car Park mouth of Boyne River.

    Gladstone branch conducts monthly daytime excursions to areas of botanical interest in the Port Curtis Region and other activities. If you would like to attend an excursion, please contact the branch secretary, Ruth.

    Participants are asked to bring a first-aid kit, food and drinking water and ensure that they have sufficient petrol for the day.

  • Sunshine Coast Branch Meeting

    Native Plants Queensland's Sunshine Coast Branch meet for 2-3 hours at 2pm on the second Sunday of each month except January, but there are often other events and propagation days between regular meetings. Many of our meetings are excursions to explore some of the beautiful natural places in our region, usually led by an expert in the flora of that location.
